Papa Bay Subdivision lies right off Highway 11 near the 89 mile marker. The name "Papa" derives from the ahupua'a of this area. There are about 47 parcels in this subdivision range in size from 2.5 to 4.5 acres. The area is considered lush by many people and some of the yards are quite beautiful. There are some stands of tall ohia trees. Some lot owners have sweeping ocean views and report seeing all the way to Maui on a clear day. At the bottom of the subdivision is a gated jeep road that switchbacks all the way down to the a boat launch between Alika Bay and Papa Bay.

subdivision. There are mail boxes at junction of the main subdivision road and
