At Big Island Living, we specialize in handcrafted, Hawaii-inspired furniture and art — much of it made from solid wood and other natural materials. We make it easy to get your purchases home, whether you're here on the Big Island, on another Hawaiian island, or on the Mainland.

🚚 Local Pickup — Free & Easy

We offer free in-store pickup six days a week during our normal business hours:

• Monday to Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Pickup is available at our showroom and warehouse located at 73-5613 Olowalu Street in Kailua-Kona. We're happy to help load your items and can coordinate timing that works best for you.

🌺 Easy Inter-Island Furniture Shipping

Love something at Big Island Living but live on another Hawaiian island? We make it easy.

We regularly ship furniture inter-island. Once you've selected your pieces, we carefully protect and crate your furniture, arrange the ocean freight, and ship it port-to-port to your island.

How it works:

• Choose your furniture — Shop online, visit us in Kona, or contact us and we'll be happy to help by phone or FaceTime.
• We prepare it for shipping — Your furniture is carefully protected and crated for the trip.
• We arrange inter-island freight — We coordinate transportation from the Big Island to your destination port.
• You pick it up at the port — Simple, straightforward port-to-port delivery.

We'll provide the crating and shipping cost before your order is finalized, so you'll know exactly what to expect.

📦 Mainland & Other Freight Shipping

We can ship many Big Island Living furniture and art pieces to the Mainland. Because every shipment is different, we provide an individual shipping quote based on the items, destination, and delivery method.

Art & Smaller Items

• We primarily ship art and smaller items via FedEx.
• We have access to discounted FedEx shipping rates, helping us keep shipping costs reasonable.
• All shipments are carefully packed and insured.
• We'll provide a custom shipping quote based on the item's size, weight, and destination.

Furniture & Larger Items

• For furniture and larger pieces, we arrange ocean freight from Hawaii and trucking to your door.
• We coordinate the shipping process for you from Hawaii through final delivery.
• Furniture is carefully protected and insured for shipment.
• We'll prepare a custom freight quote for your approval before shipping.
