Aloha. E Komo Mai, and welcome! I invite you to enjoy my renditions of old Hawaii, it’s proud people, familiar Big Island landscapes and wide variety of tropical flora and fauna.

Painting plein air (on location) has given me the chance to meet many of the people whose lives are associated with the places that I am privileged to capture with my art. The various locations that I explore give me the opportunity to interpret though my paintings not only the incredible beauty, but the feel of the breeze creating the sway of the palm fronds or the restful sense of a honu napping on the shoreline.

I love to paint, and I love to share my knowledge and appreciation of Hawai with one and all. These are my tropical dreams ... made with paint brush in hand. Hawaii is a special place, and I consider myself privileged to be able to live here and share it with others.
